E-Lock mobiSigner for ProcessMaker®

mobiSigner for ProcessMaker leverages digital signing capability in ProcessMaker workflow management software.  This allows public and private organizations to complete the last mile in a paperless approval processes across departments and systems by using E-Lock powered digital signatures.  It is now no longer necessary to print, sign, and then upload scanned copies of signed documents in the workflow, thereby leaving a workflow process only partially automated.

This integrated solution is exclusively available with the enterprise version of ProcessMaker.

E-Lock powered digital signature in ProcessMaker

How E-Lock digital signature in ProcessMaker work?

There are two basic ways to use the Elock digital signatures in ProcessMaker:
  1. Signing Web Forms: Oftentimes when designing a web based workflow process, there are critical decision points in the workflow where the direction of the workflow is decided based on a step of approval or rejection. For example, in a credit approval workflow, there are usually one or multiple steps where a credit officer will need to approve or reject a request for credit. Thanks to E-Lock, we can now add an E-Lock powered Digital Signature Field to this form which will allow the user to digitally sign the form at the moment of approval before passing the form on for further processing.
  2. Signing PDF Files: Thanks to the E-Lock digital signature, users can now digitally sign PDF files in ProcessMaker thereby eliminating a number of previously necessary steps whereby users would generate a PDF, print the PDF, sign the printed copy, and then upload the scanned signed copy in ProcessMaker. These 4 “paper generating” steps can now be reduced to a single secure step, which generates the PDF and allows a user to digitally sign the PDF. The embedded PDF signature can be verified for authenticity through any Adobe Reader. Additionally, users can upload an image file to associate with the signature to give it the “feel” of a traditional signature.
